# Shape vs PaceVault

The clearest difference is update cadence: PaceVault at every 2 days against Shape's weekly. Shape's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and PaceVault sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shape ships an update weekly, PaceVault every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
