# Comet vs Exif Cleaner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comet at every 8 days against Exif Cleaner's every 3 weeks. Exif Cleaner's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month and Exif Cleaner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comet ships an update every 8 days, Exif Cleaner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
