# Ideas Jar vs ComboDate

The clearest difference is update cadence: ComboDate at every 2 weeks against Ideas Jar's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ideas Jar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ComboDate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ideas Jar ships an update every 3 months, ComboDate every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
