# TaplessNote vs Window Seat GPS

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaplessNote at every 2 weeks against Window Seat GPS's every 2 months. TaplessNote also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaplessNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Window Seat GPS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaplessNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Window Seat GPS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
