# Dice vs mixfan

The clearest difference is ads: mixfan at none against Dice's shown. mixfan also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Dice's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Dice against 5.0 for mixfan. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice has 91 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
