# GradeGrind vs OverlayFocus

The clearest difference is update cadence: OverlayFocus at every 2 days against GradeGrind's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GradeGrind sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per month and OverlayFocus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GradeGrind ships an update every 5 days, OverlayFocus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
