# BedTimeStories vs OpenABC

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenABC at every 3 days against BedTimeStories's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BedTimeStories sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and OpenABC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BedTimeStories ships an update fortnightly, OpenABC every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
