# DayTrace vs flo

The clearest difference is rating: flo at 5.0 against DayTrace's 4.5. flo also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.5). DayTrace's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayTrace sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and flo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

flo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayTrace has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DayTrace ships an update every 5 days, flo every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
