# DayTrace vs HabitTracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: DayTrace at every 5 days against HabitTracker's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayTrace sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and HabitTracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayTrace ships an update every 5 days, HabitTracker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
