# DayTrace vs MicTask

The clearest difference is update cadence: MicTask at daily against DayTrace's every 5 days. MicTask also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayTrace sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MicTask sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayTrace ships an update every 5 days, MicTask daily. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
