# Word Code vs TimeToFlip

Word Code and TimeToFlip both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TimeToFlip's written reviews are positive against 65% of Word Code's. TimeToFlip also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). Word Code's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Code sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and TimeToFlip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Word Code against 5.0 for TimeToFlip. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Code has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Word Code's written reviews are positive against 100% of TimeToFlip's.

Word Code ships an update fortnightly, TimeToFlip daily. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
