# AstroFocus vs Resela

The clearest difference is update cadence: AstroFocus at monthly against Resela's every 4 months. Resela's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AstroFocus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Resela sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $22.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AstroFocus ships an update monthly, Resela every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
