# CleverJazz vs RealPlay

The clearest difference is rating: RealPlay at 4.8 against CleverJazz's 4.2. RealPlay also leads on ratings volume (172 vs 5). CleverJazz's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CleverJazz sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and RealPlay sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RealPlay holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RealPlay has 172 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CleverJazz's written reviews are positive against 73% of RealPlay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CleverJazz ships an update weekly, RealPlay every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
