# Bibala vs Podnotes

The clearest difference is rating: Podnotes at 4.1 against Bibala's 3.2. Podnotes also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (37 vs 6). Bibala's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Podnotes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Bibala asks for nothing beyond the download.

Podnotes holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Podnotes has 37 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Bibala's written reviews are positive against 50% of Podnotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bibala ships an update monthly, Podnotes every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
