# Sand Crush vs Sand Loop

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sand Crush at none against Sand Loop's 18. Sand Crush also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Sand Loop's advantage is chart position (#99 vs unranked) and ratings volume (22K vs 3K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sand Loop sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Sand Crush asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Sand Crush against 4.5 for Sand Loop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sand Loop has 22K ratings behind it against 3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 16% and 17% positive.

Sand Crush ships an update weekly, Sand Loop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
