# Speakids vs E

The clearest difference is ads: Speakids at none against E's shown. E's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speakids sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month and E sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speakids ships an update every 2 weeks, E every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
