# MLB ALERT vs College Diamond

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MLB ALERT at 12.0 against College Diamond's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MLB ALERT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and College Diamond sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
