# Speed Test vs Speed Test !

The clearest difference is rating: Speed Test at 4.8 against Speed Test !'s 4.4. Speed Test !'s advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Test sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Speed Test ! sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed Test holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Test ! has 32 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Speed Test ships an update every 3 weeks, Speed Test ! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
