# Cryptogram vs Pixel Paint

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pixel Paint at every 3 weeks against Cryptogram's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cryptogram sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Pixel Paint sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
