# Astari vs Looma

The clearest difference is rating: Astari at 4.5 against Looma's 3.7. Astari also leads on ratings volume (447 vs 6) and chart position (#93 vs unranked). Looma's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 41%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astari sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Looma sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astari holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astari has 447 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Astari's written reviews are positive against 67% of Looma's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Astari ships an update every 11 days, Looma every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
