# FlowRoll vs Ground CTRL

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FlowRoll at 635 against Ground CTRL's 1. FlowRoll also leads on chart position (#161 vs unranked). Ground CTRL's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlowRoll sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Ground CTRL sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FlowRoll against 5.0 for Ground CTRL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlowRoll has 635 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of FlowRoll's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ground CTRL's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
