# Drop vs Lumis

The clearest difference is device support: Drop at 3 against Lumis's 1. Drop also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Lumis sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop ships an update weekly, Lumis fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
