# NowTask vs NoteFormat

The clearest difference is ads: NowTask at none against NoteFormat's shown. NoteFormat's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NowTask sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and NoteFormat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NowTask ships an update every 10 days, NoteFormat every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
