# NowTask vs Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tasks at every 3 days against NowTask's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NowTask sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NowTask ships an update every 10 days, Tasks every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
