# Vi Glass vs DPVR

The clearest difference is ads: DPVR at none against Vi Glass's shown. Vi Glass's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (110 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DPVR holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vi Glass has 110 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vi Glass ships an update every 2 weeks, DPVR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
