# SUN vs Ragnarok Origin

The clearest difference is rating: SUN at 4.9 against Ragnarok Origin's 4.2. Ragnarok Origin's advantage is ratings volume (179 vs 18) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SUN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Ragnarok Origin sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SUN holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ragnarok Origin has 179 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
