# Royal Block Jam vs Block Pals

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Block Pals at 200 against Royal Block Jam's 5. Royal Block Jam's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Royal Block Jam sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Block Pals sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Royal Block Jam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Pals has 200 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Royal Block Jam ships an update every 6 days, Block Pals every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
