# Writn vs Heirloom4Life

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Writn at 100% against Heirloom4Life's 50%. Heirloom4Life's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Writn sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Heirloom4Life asks for nothing beyond the download.

Heirloom4Life holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Writn's written reviews are positive against 50% of Heirloom4Life's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Writn ships an update every 2 weeks, Heirloom4Life weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
