# Writn vs Afterword

The clearest difference is ads: Afterword at none against Writn's shown. Writn's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Writn sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Afterword sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
