# SumGress vs New Year Resolution

The clearest difference is update cadence: New Year Resolution at every 2 days against SumGress's every 5 days. New Year Resolution also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SumGress sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and New Year Resolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SumGress ships an update every 5 days, New Year Resolution every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
