# Corebound vs Stranger School

The clearest difference is rating: Corebound at 4.9 against Stranger School's 4.7. Corebound also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 148). Stranger School's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Corebound sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Stranger School sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Corebound holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Corebound has 1K ratings behind it against 148, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Corebound's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stranger School's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Corebound ships an update every 8 days, Stranger School fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
