# Effect 01 vs AI Video Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Effect 01 at 5.0 against AI Video Creator's 3.9. Effect 01 also leads on ads (none vs shown). AI Video Creator's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Effect 01 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AI Video Creator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Effect 01 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Video Creator has 33 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Effect 01 ships an update monthly, AI Video Creator every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
