# Casters vs RankMyTask

The clearest difference is monetization model: Casters at free against RankMyTask's free with in-app purchases. Casters also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). RankMyTask's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Casters against 5.0 for RankMyTask. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Casters has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
