# MaximumFit vs Forge

The clearest difference is update cadence: MaximumFit at every 5 days against Forge's every 3 weeks. Forge's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaximumFit sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Forge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MaximumFit against 5.0 for Forge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forge has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MaximumFit ships an update every 5 days, Forge every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
