# Notely vs YarnMate

The clearest difference is update cadence: YarnMate at weekly against Notely's every 2 months. Notely's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notely sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and YarnMate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notely ships an update every 2 months, YarnMate weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
