# V vs The Holiday Block

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Holiday Block at every 2 weeks against V's every 3 months. The Holiday Block also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and The Holiday Block sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

V ships an update every 3 months, The Holiday Block every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
