# ScriptCam vs Better Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScriptCam at every 3 days against Better Camera's every 9 days. ScriptCam also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScriptCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Better Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScriptCam ships an update every 3 days, Better Camera every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
