# Hegemon vs Imperial Eagle

The clearest difference is rating: Imperial Eagle at 5.0 against Hegemon's 4.1. Imperial Eagle also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Hegemon's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hegemon sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Imperial Eagle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Imperial Eagle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hegemon has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Hegemon ships an update every 2 months, Imperial Eagle weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
