# StepSaga vs Pedometer

The clearest difference is rating: StepSaga at 5.0 against Pedometer's 3.3. StepSaga also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Pedometer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepSaga sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pedometer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepSaga ships an update every 3 weeks, Pedometer every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
