# Beacon Nuggies vs Aippy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Beacon Nuggies at none against Aippy's 9. Aippy's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aippy sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Beacon Nuggies asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Beacon Nuggies against 4.9 for Aippy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aippy has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
