# Course Vaults vs Caddie Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Caddie Map at none against Course Vaults's 9. Course Vaults's advantage is ratings volume (156 vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Course Vaults sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Caddie Map asks for nothing beyond the download.

Caddie Map holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Course Vaults has 156 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
