# Egg Timer vs Zapp

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Egg Timer at none against Zapp's 1. Egg Timer also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Zapp's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zapp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Egg Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.
