# MyZettel vs LegaCAE

The clearest difference is update cadence: LegaCAE at every 9 days against MyZettel's every 2 months. LegaCAE also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyZettel sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and LegaCAE sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyZettel ships an update every 2 months, LegaCAE every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
