# MyZettel vs Tackboard

The clearest difference is ads: MyZettel at none against Tackboard's shown. Tackboard's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyZettel sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tackboard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyZettel ships an update every 2 months, Tackboard every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
