# Podcript vs Voicer

The clearest difference is ads: Voicer at none against Podcript's shown. Voicer also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). Podcript's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Podcript sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days and Voicer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Podcript ships an update every 2 months, Voicer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
