# DokuAI vs Construction Log

The clearest difference is update cadence: DokuAI at weekly against Construction Log's every 3 months. Construction Log's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DokuAI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Construction Log sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DokuAI ships an update weekly, Construction Log every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
