# Shadow Work vs Axis

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Axis at none against Shadow Work's 3. Axis also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Shadow Work's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadow Work sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Axis asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Shadow Work against 5.0 for Axis.
