# CueTube vs VideoVault

The clearest difference is monetization model: VideoVault at free against CueTube's freemium. VideoVault also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CueTube sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and VideoVault sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CueTube ships an update monthly, VideoVault every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
