# Flash vs Layergram

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flash at none against Layergram's 1. Layergram's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Layergram sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flash asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flash ships an update every 10 days, Layergram every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
