# StepZen vs GPS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GPS at none against StepZen's 3. StepZen's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepZen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. GPS asks for nothing beyond the download.

StepZen ships an update every 3 days, GPS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
